Dr Nita Danda has been a Consultant Cardiologist- senior staff specialist at Logan Hospital, North Brisbane and Northwest cardiology, Heart of Australia. She received her undergraduate Medical Degree from the Armed Forces Medical College, India in 2010 and

proceeded to work as a Junior Medical Officer at various hospitals in

Queensland, Australia. She did her advanced training in Cardiology at Prince Charles Hospital and Townsville Hospital.

Dr Danda did her fellowship in Cardiac Imaging at Princess Alexandra hospital. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Fellow of Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand, board certified in Adult Echocardiography in the USA and holds a level A certificate in CT Coronary Angiography.

Dr Danda specialises in multimodality imaging with expertise in complex echocardiography including transthoracic echo (Including 3D ECHO and strain), exercise stress ECHO, dobutamine stress echo, transoesophageal echo. She manages a wide range of cardiac diseases including valvular

heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, simple and complex coronary artery disease, difficult to treat hypertension, arrhythmias. Her research interest includes valvular disease, heart failure and cardiomyopathies.
